Michel Jobert

Michel is a French-Cypriot Architect who studied and practiced Architecture in Grenoble, France where he met his future wife and partner Maria.
In the 80s they move to Cyprus where they gain several years working experience in Nicosia and Pafos prior establishing their own architectural firm in 1983, M & M Jobert Architects.

In 1984 they create Benacon Construction Ltd and later Benacon Development, offering a turnkey design and built service for customized villas, mostly to expatriates. They realize various remarkable residential projects mainly in the Paphos region. But also design architectural proposals for various international projects.
​
In 2001 they win the Best Cyprus Development award for “Terratsou Village” in Tsada in the region of Paphos. And in 2002, Benacon group merges with a major Paphos developer.

In 2009 Michel & Maria design and realize one of their most remarkable projects, which is the renovation and extension of Agioi Anargyri Hotel & Spa complex in Miliou (Paphos) in cooperation with G. Psomas Architects.

Michel now works as an independent Architect consultant, for the design of customized villas and larger scale projects for a major Paphos Developer.
He also collaborates with Emilie Jobert and has the vision of creating an interactive Design & Project Management service, implemented in their recent project “The Star” Residence in Kissonerga for a Swiss developer.
