3 main factors defined the concept and “L” shape of the Design: The necessity to create privacy from the main road. The intention to maximize the south orientation and views towards the green area, and the client's request to create generous exterior and interior spaces for the hosting of social gatherings.

 

Therefore all the service areas are located on the north façade of the house, while the main areas are orientated south and west towards the green area, with the kitchen and master bedroom enjoying views of the sunset and adjacent greenery.

 

The living , dining  and kitchen can be unified and create an open plan space for gatherings. While the creation of a back patio allows for cross views and ventilation and the sense of openness and continuity with the outdoors.

 

The central staircase and compact aspect of the house limits corridors and facilitates direct and practical access to the bedroom area, therefore maximizing the allowed area.

 

The form of the house integrates discretely the photovoltaic panels and technical features in a minimal expression, while perforated panels give more privacy to certain rooms and create playfull punctuations on the facades.
