Apartment Building in Agios Theodoros

2024 Pafos, Cyprus

The building is thoughtfully designed to harmonize with its surroundings, optimizing both the views on the lush green area on one side and the vistas of the distant Pafos hills visible from the main living spaces. The structure incorporates large, strategically positioned glass windows that frame these picturesque views, while inviting an abundance of natural light into the interiors.

To enhance the sense of openness, the layout follows an open-plan design making the living areas feel airy and unconfined. Outdoor terraces and balconies extend from the main living spaces, offering elevated vantage points to enjoy the scenery and promote outdoor living.

Privacy is skillfully integrated through the use of vertical fins, extended perforated walls and greenery screens, which shield interiors from direct sightlines and sunlight while maintaining the visual connection to the outside.

This residential design seamlessly blends functionality and comfort to cater to the diverse needs of its inhabitants. The layout is open yet intuitive, with clearly defined zones for living, dining, working, and relaxation. Functionality is prioritized through built-in storage in every room while integrating concerns of adaptability for individuals with challenging accessibility needs.

The design also prioritizes sustainability and well-being, incorporating energy-efficient systems, natural cross ventilation, and plants. Each element is chosen to promote comfort, efficiency, and adaptability. The result is a harmonious design that celebrates light, nature, and privacy, creating a tranquil yet vibrant living experience.
